Structure %100 made entirely from locally sourced, flame retardant, recyclable materials. Minimalist trendy decor. Great view of Scott Base, Mt Erebus, handy to shops, bars and walks.
Cosy, twin-bedroom, complete with two single beds. Ample room for the addition of more beds or conversion to king size with a little spade work.
Large game/lounge room with seating for twenty-one, centrally "mood" lit support column, one working power point for entertainment unit, multiple drinks cooler located around the room and ice skylight for viewing of Auroras.
Spacious movie room with, open fire, built in 82" snow screen, repair kit is supplied, but projector unfortunately is not.

It got a very large Freezer, during the party we kept the drinks in a chilly bin with heat pads. No microwave but it does have a 60watt red light bulb, thats the can thing it stops your water from freezing at night.

There several "transition" out on to the sea....ice. There is not much to use for bait and chilly bins arn't a prob. You need more of a warmy bin.

No land area, just the hole so to speak. It sit about 100mm off ground, and its about 5 meters above sea level. So although the rising temperatures would certianly make the short walk to the beach a little more pleasant I'm not all that sure it's a wise idea to keep up with the ever increasing levels of green house gases and.......

Its amazing what a few hours peering out the window in the Scott Base Bar does. Espec with the sun shining in at 2am. It has obviously affected you two mugs ...er...good fellas. Check out WO82 for a Mason R. :-)
A brilliant time spender for the long nights. Wish i had thought of doing something like that!! Well at least more than survival training!!!! All we had was a warm husky.
I'll donate but won't bid. Maybe a bank will take that up so folk can show apprec for your efforts.

I think you'll have a bit of a problem finding pigs even if the you manage to get the dogs down through MAF and ATNZ. Loin Brown was good suff to.

The caves real the people are fake. There is extension lead running under the snow. The socket is mounted on a box beried in the wall. We have had to disconnect the power as there is concern that the 60watt bulb is taking to much power(I'm not kidding). It took 300+hours to dig because it is a huge pain hauling the snow back down the tunnel and out the entre hole.
