Richard is a visionary director of the critically acclaimed NZ Animation and Special Effects Company, Weta Workshop. The company produces cutting-edge computer effects and compositing, most famously for the Lord of the Rings Trilogy. Winner of multiple Academy Awards, and helped put NZ on the world movie map. His doodle is going to be a very valuable item in years to come. A beatifully drawn hobbit house which will be coveted by LORD OF THE RINGS FANS. Get a bid in on this one!
This is your one and only chance to own a piece of history, a unique piece of art lovingly created by a famous, maybe even ICONIC New Zealander.
Virtually all doodles are done on A4 cartridge paper.

Everyday we will be adding new doodling greats to our auction list. Even Phil Keoghan from The Amazing Race is sending us his doodle effort! So check back often.
The minimum bid is a paltry $20. This amount may score you a great doodle, but remember, the objective of this auction is to raise funds for Tauranga Boys" College Rowing Under 18 Squad, so please be generous.
Rowing is one of the most expensive sports. At Tauranga Boys' we believe every boy should have the chance to row, which is why we need this fundraiser. We also believe in winning, and that by intense training and competition, we can give our boys the best opportunity to bring home the Maadi Cup (the Under 18 eights national trophy). The funds raised by this auction will help to finance a training and competing trip to Queensland this February.
