Artist Andrew Johnston celebrates the arrival of spring with his latest installation in Okahu Bay. Comprising of clusters of oversized budding flowers the installation will be in place for one day only and is being auctioned with all proceeds going to the Cancer Society.

Made up of thirty one flowers of different sizes and colours the height of the installation varies from two to three and a half meters. Bold, bright and colourful the installation aims to capture the vibrancy of spring.
Come down, have a look with the kids and enjoy the day.

Just a comment, I saw these from the bus window, when they were set up on the beach for the photo shoot. O for Awesome.
