5 NZ Cents Oil Painting Ra Hammond #3/8 Tuatara (Others are for showing the series...)

After the demonitisation of another one of our lower denomination coins, I felt it only fair to represent the poor Five Cent coin with that Tuatara on it...

I'd love to wax intellectual on the subject, but there's no room....

My goal is to complete a full 28 series of sets of 10 coins (280 paintings)

For part of my " Doubling Challenge " (google this !) I have decided to rekindle my interest in painting. After studying a BA of Graphic Design in Australia, I have had a rest from art for the last 8 years. Now I'm Back !

The first set of 10 paintings will be all New Zealand Coins. As a 5th Gen NZer I thought I should start with our coins !!

These coins are all handpainted in oils and interpreted from the original thing by myself.
