EYES FROM ETHIOPIA - THE BOOK is a collection of photographs by a group of sixteen kids from Mercy Home in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

All the kids had come either directly from living on the streets or from extremely poor and underprivileged backgrounds. These six to nine year olds were taught photography for a five week block. The kids completely amazed and delighted everyone involved in the project and have culminated in some incredibly unique and inspired images.

For auction are 4 of 5 beautiful limited edition hand bound coffee table books that hold the whole collection of the childrens photography (the fifth one is on display at Pataka Museum as part of the exhibition and will eventually be sent to the children's Home in Ethiopia). The books showcase their images in a simple clean design that allows each image to speak for itself. These books have been made by Momento Photo Books and are of the highest quality paper and binding materials with a beautiful matte dust jacket.
