BMW 540i e34 1994

1994 NZ new, 5 owner BMW 540i. One of the best examples left in New Zealand. Each owner has maintained this vehicle to a high standard. With just over 200000kms covered, some would say this car is just about run in. It drives without rattle or issue, is exceptionally tight and sure footed on the road. This is partly due to me happily installing a new set of sports shocks all round and new pads and rotors in the front. Looking up under the car while on a hoist, there are no scrap marks or damage, numerous new shiny replaced parts re bushes, suspension, sway arms etc, it has been maintained well. All fluids also flushed and replaced during April this year: breaks, engine, radiator and transmission. This car is worth the effort. Unlike an average 540i, from new, this car was fitted with Mtec sports grade suspension and sway bars and sports leather seats. Also from new, it has an AC Schnitzer exhaust system in stainless steel (still in mint condition) which gives this V8 a quiet refined tuned note which develops in growl when the revs are bought up; a joy and a must to listen to on occasion. And the stereo is a 3mth old Pioneer with blue tooth, hands free and USB input. The audio system in this car is amazing. The transmission is the first of the learning adaptive type which means it adjusts to your driving style. It also has sports mode which livens things up when you're in the mood. Staggered AC Schnitzer rims with 235/45 tyres front and 255/45 tyres in the rear.
