Before getting started, please note that this auction is pick-up only from Mornington in Wellington (ie. south of Brooklyn). The microwave is a little heavy, and arranging freight is something we really don't want to do.
This microwave is from some time in the 1980's. It started with my girlfriend's parents, spent some time with her little brother, then was handed to us. Many of its recent days have been spent heating baked beans on toast, for which it is very well suited.
It still works quite well, but we've now replaced it with a much shinier microwave. Consequently we no longer have space for this one, but unlike its previous owners we also don't have anyone else to fob it off to. You could BE that person.
Perhaps you need a microwave for your kitchen, or perhaps you'd like it for spare parts (if you enjoy that kind of thing). If you had another old microwave, you could line them up against each other, open the doors, and they could fight each other. (Actually to do this, you'd need to disable the safety thing that switches it off when the door is opened.)
If you had higher aspirations and the skills to go with them, you might try to construct some kind of doomsday device with it and use it to threaten a foreign government that's annoyed you.
It's really up to you.
Please remember that this auction is pick-up only. :)

Questions and answers
Seller Comment: I should note that even though it still works, this Microwave does take a little longer to cook things than it probably used to. (eg. It took about 2 minutes to cook my baked beans on toast whereas other microwaves might only take 1.5 minutes.)
If you want your bid removed, please hit the Ask A Question link to let me know, and I'll remove it for you.
