A lovely landscape painting by well known artist Allan Crombie . The scene was painted near Thorpe , not far from Motueka , in the Nelson Province . A letter of provenance from the painter is attached to the back of the painting . The painting itself is 61 cm X 38 cm approx. , and the frame is 72 cmX 49 cm approx. Both the painting and the frame are in excellent condition . The frame is a matt dark green colour .
