Mitsubishi "1 ton" (or 1 tonner) 1978 Colt T120-Y (2M wide-body) flat-deck pickup ute/truck

38 yrs old "interior" dilapidated

WOF expired (years ago)
LIVE NZ PLATES - ON EXEMPTION
(kept on exemption, in case vehicle ever restored, thus needs NO expensive recertification to re-license, for "on-road" use).

Note:
No WOF needed off-road.
Vehicle ONLY TOWED on-road, via included (removable) A-Frame.

Extra's & Special Features.
3L ELECTRIC FUEL-PUMP
Tow Bar.
"Rear" Pipe Carrier / Ladder Rack (removable).
"Front & Behind-Cab " (Combined) Pipe Carrier / Ladder Rack.

This "combined" (front/cab) section is also removable - but with difficulty, without destroying the A-Frame connection, which is itself "bolted direct" onto the chassis.

TEN SPARE 13" Rims (3 without rubber) - as I have owned 3 of these.
Currently sitting on MUD & SNOW tires "for off-road use"

The video of this RUNNING "today", is publically visible on my Facebook page ( http://QUIX4U.co.nz ) where there are also several "still" pictures shown there, of all it's OTHER bits too.

Or go direct to the YouTube video/link post via:

BUYER MUST PICKUP (this pickup)

As it can easily be towed BY ONE PERSON, via any car's tow-ball.

The A-Frame "tow-connector" is also a DUAL size fitting, and can be used with either 1+7/8" or 50mm tow balls.

There is a 7-pin flat lighting "trailer" connector on the front of the A-Frame itself.
A "supplied" long-lead cable interconnects between the A-Frame's socket (at cab), and the REAR trailer coupling - to supply the Ute with night-lights/turn indicators etc., when "under tow".

There is also a special LOCK-OUT system on the gear lever, whereby the GEARS cannot be engaged when it's under tow, to avoid any accidental gearbox damage, should the "5-on-the-tree" gear lever engage whenever TOWED (such as on rough roads etc.,)

Any questions - please ask.
Happy bidding & happy ownership should you win this delightful OLD vehicle.

Questions and answers

Seller Comment: Included: A-Frame (& a "long-lead" 7-core interconnector lighting cable). 15 (total) 13" rims, 5 currently fitted with Mud & Snow tires (the rest are on flat-deck, 3 without rubber). 1 spare "front windscreen" & 2 spare "rear" window's. Overhead (semi-removable) long-load / long-pipe / ladder-rack. FOUR genuine Mitsubishi workshop manuals (1 is a chassis PARTS catalogue, 1 is a Neptune 4G4 Motor Manual, 1 is the 1977 Mechanical service manual & 1 is the 1978 supplement) + other smaller parts 8:55 pm, Sun 12 Mar
Seller Comment: I have just realized that the "rear-most" woodwork-section (of the deck) is now rotten and will probably need replacing - so have dropped the start price accordingly. (as I know how expensive a sheet of 17mm marine plywood is, having just bought some for my blue trailer). 1:56 pm, Mon 13 Mar

U what? I'm absolutely CERTAIN that I put up a BUY NOW .. AND A START PRICE.! But if you are referring to the RESERVE - DO NOT ASK SUCH A SILLY QUESTION. 5:27 pm, Mon 13 Mar
Seller Comment: For who can't access Facebook to see the low-quality montage-video and the many stills pictures &/or read the extra information (such as via the wikimedia pages and other general vehicle ""information website links etc., ), rest assured that the "same" video will soon be LIVE and in a BETTER high.definition format, via YouTube by using this [LINK] https://youtu.be/OrnsIw5oA5g 12:15 pm, Thu 16 Mar
