1969 Vintage Hayman Drumset

Good condition, have being gigging with it the last few years.
Is very playable, great sound.
1969, birch shells with reinforcment rings
Abit of wear: (expected with its age)
bearing edges not in great shape
I was forced to strip off the wrapping, I have covered it all in clear coat, as I was planning to re-wrap it, but I think its time to pass it on instead.
Insides of drums also need abit of work.
I have been slowly restoring this drumkit since it came into my possession 4 years ago.

evans ec2 heads on tom batters
remo clear ambassadors on tom resos
Remo PS3 kick batter
Coated ambassadors on reso
Evans powercenter reverse dot on snare batter
Remo ambassador snare side on reso
snare: early premier from the 70's I think
with a tama strainer, very messy job with that.
12x8, 13x9 tom toms (mounted on snare stands)
16x16 floor tom
22x16 kick
14x5.5 snare
hardware:
3x snare stands
HiHat stand
Straight stand
2x Boom stands
Gibraltar avenger doube kick 6611DB
Tama drum throne
Note: No cymbals are included

Iwill upload badge pictures shortly, this set dosent have the dampners and unfortunatley has holes where they should be. this kit has a mix of key and slot tuning rods as alot were missing when I got it 12" tom completly key 13" all slotted, floor tom has one key rod on underneath all the rest are slotted. no tom mounts either, which is a shame, from the pictures I've seen it was a rather unique system. some lugs have pitting, while some don't. will get requested pictures up soon. cheers

These are great drums very very strongly made! I have a set myself and luv the luggs and tom mount system, very unique

Hi there, I would go for Hayman kit (ie without snare,dont need any snare stands either) with hi-hat stand, boom stands, strait stand and throne. Although i know this would be a good sounding kit, I am too green to know what ball-park offer to make right now, need to chat with my bro who is a drummer and had the same kit once. I am aware this auction will finish soon and I cant speak to bro til tonight, so may well miss out. cheers, karen
