Hi Tanya, Couldn't agree with you more! Without all the artists this wouldn't have been possible. It is an incredible piece which really needs to be viewed in the flesh to be able to appreciate the depth and detail in every piece. The photos just don't do it justice but do they ever? Thanks Sophia

Hi Cath. Mental Health issues are something that has affected most people at some stage in their life either directly or indirectly through friends and family. The Mental Health Foundation of NZ do a fantastic job - they are not government funded so rely heavily on donations. We are so pleased to be supporting them. Thanks to everyone involved :-) Sophia

Hi Chris, You're so right - it was a huige undertaking - but we are lucky to have so many artists that gave their time and energy to creating a little piece towards it. Not to all the extra helpers who worked together behind the scenes, including a very skilled hubby who used his building and woodworking skills to make it all come together in such an incredible way! Big thank you to all involved :-) Sophia

Wow. It truly looks amazing. I am so proud to be apart of it. If I was rich I would buy it hehehe Thanks for Sophia, other artists and of the behind scenes people for making it happening. Can't wait for next year.

Hey Jen, Good on you for offering to donate your share! - I'm sure the foundation will appreciate it. The artists involved are free to do whatever they wish to with the payment they receive after the sale -ironically though the challenge aspect reminds me of Telethon - which Mental Health was a recipient of in 1977, the Foundation then distributed a total of 2.6 million to many organisations involved in mental health activity. :-) Sophia

Great to see all the support happening. The efforts of everyone involved is tops. Looking forward to participating next year and the year after etc etc etc... Well done Soph' - love the print(s) I have purchased - truly worth the $$s. Cheers, Sher

Hi Martin. Yes Melissa Muirhead is one of the 88 artists who participated in this project. (Please see her comment in this section.) Artists are lovers of art and often art collectors too. Last year the collaborative artwork auction "Patchworks" was won by a member of the NZ Art Guild. Art creates an emotional response and attachment in people and this artwork is no exception. :-) Sophia

I am so excited to be leading the bidding!I love this so much and feel so honored to be one of the 88 artists involved.Fingers crossed I can keep up - we haven't agreed on our budget yet though lol!It is such an amazing amazing artwork and I would so love to own this!I've spoken to trade me and they are happy for me to bid.Being involved with this from the start has made me and my husband realise just what a special piece of artwork this is and this is a genuine bid - we really want to own this

Good luck with your bidding! :-) Sophia
