Description
A Replica 1863 Pattern 2 Band Remington 'Zouave' musket by Antonio Zoli of Italy. Caliber .58 (.577)
32 inch barrel, 1-62 twist (Patched Round ball) but were made to shoot Minnie hollow based Minnie bullets
Selling on behalf of a friend, I don't know much of its history. It has a modified foresight and has been drilled and tapped for an aperture rear sight.
I has been well maintained, the bore is clean, shiny with no garks or pits. This rifle was a common sight on the firing line at Kopara for a few years, last shot by a woman there.
