Hi you are bidding on an absolute rarity and delight especially as everyone young and old should know the name Enid Blyton. A household name that many people were brought up reading her books, from The Famous five to Noddy.

This particular book a first edition including the dust jacket from 1948 on Pitkin is "We want a story" and is signed on the inside pages "Love from Enid Blyton". With illustrations by George Bowe. I have had confirmation from a Blyton collector in the UK that this is a genuine signature.

The dust jacket has general shelf wear of its age with a small hole on the back of the dust jacket. Otherwise in general good condition as you can see in the pictures (http://www.flickr.com/photos/timboss81/sets/72157629863064515/)
