Bruce Lee starts as Chen, star student at his martial arts school who returns from a trip to discover that his beloved teacher is dead. Everyone says that his teacher died of sheumonia, but Chen has his suspicions. At the teacher's funeral, a Japanese man named Wu comes to deliver a package. The package contains a sign insulting the late teacher and the kung-fu school. Wu taunts the students and challenges them to fight the students at a fival Japaese martial arts school.
