Recently we held a fundraising event called the Dress The Pigs for Project Promise. This entailed local businesses dressing up BNZ Piggy Banks in the theme of their businesses to compete against each other in who could raise the most money and who could get their pig the most votes by the general public. It was a great success for us and we raised over $4000. What we have now is a few pigs that some of the businesses have donated to go up for a special first time auction here on trademe.

Project Promise has been set up by Northland Community Foundation (NCF) to raise funds, through community fundraising to build a new Oncology Facility in Whangarei to better serve the people of Northland

Project Promise will benefit the majority of the people of Northland, from cancer patients through to family (whanau) and friends.

Project Promise launched on March 19th 2010 and in the first 2 Years has fundraised over $1,000,000 which is an amazing result.

The Dress The Pigs event is just one of the great fundraising activities that BNZ has undertaken to support and promote this worthy cause
