Lovely extensively carved sign showing what appears to be Pine Cones at either end and a big fish or dragon in the midddle.
Beneath is the individually raised letters revealing signage" Echuca".outlined in gold paint.
The wood appears to be a heavy swamp wood /ironbark type or Eucalyptus .
There are two screw holes for affixing to the place of your choice.
Echuca as everybody should know, is situated on the Murray River in Victoria. Australia. A great spot.
Measurements 35 cm x 9...5 cm .
Not suitable for Australia due to being wood and A/Customs.
There are many possibliities for use of this sign and apart from leaving it as it is, all you need for something different is a chisel and some stain by reducing the letters.eg Anyone called CHU (40 in Ak phone book)HU (50 listed) HUCA many listed in AK.
Must be more possibilitiesfor bright viewers -ideas welcomed.
