This T-mount adapter ring attaches a T-mount lens or scope attachment to Nikon Camera bodies.

T-mounts use a 42mm thread (but different from the M42 Pentax thread) which are often found on preset or no-diaphragm lenses, non - auto camera lenses, slide -duplicators, adapter tubes, bellow units, astronomical telescopes, super mirror lenses, microscope adapters, eye-doctor exam cameras and a number of other attachments.
It is of metal construction and has 3 set-screws on the sides to allow the outer ring to rotate if needed and be secured, for the attached lens to be correctly aligned. The adapter will fits directly to the Nikon camera body but does not provide linkage for diaphragm automation.
T and T2 are basically the same but the T-2 has a rotating outer ring and the T-Mount does not.

Also known as a T2 adapter, T-ring or T-adapter.

Very well constructed and fits accurately to the Nikon camera body. New.
