Up for auction is a piece of work I've produced while developing my new comic book series Wonderboy!

I am auctioning off a mock-up cover for an issue starring Pintsize and guest starring Sonny Bill Williams. It is one of only three prints (I have one framed in my office and my parents have the other one) and the buyer is guaranteed another will never be printed, so it is one of only three in existence! It has been kindly signed by Sonny Bill and it will be framed for the buyer. This is your chance to own a unique piece of artwork and to be a part of Sonny Bill mania!!! You never know, Wonderboy himself may become a star one day and then this will be a very valuable collectors piece!

I will be donating all proceeds from this auction to The Starship Foundation because I cannot think of a better cause! I think we all grow up too fast and some kids have to grow up especially fast. So hopefully this auction raises enough money to buy lots and lots of toys!


About Wonderboy: The education of boys is currently seen -within New Zealand and abroad- to be in crisis. It has been a growing concern within first world countries since the 1990s, most notably in Australia, New Zealand, the UK and the USA. Current statistics indicate that the performance of boys has fallen well behind girls in every respect of both primary and secondary education; Young woman are 30% more likely to enrol in some form of higher education once they leave high school.

Wonderboy is a fun and adventurous comic book designed to engage boys, at their level, to better help them succeed in their educational development. With funding, it is my hope that Wonderboy will become available to every boy (aged 7-8), in every school around the country, for free. Published monthly, Wonderboy's positive messages will become a permanent part of boy culture.
