“I've been lucky enough to become associated with this patchwork vernacular signage look through years of development through my paintings and design work.

This was an interesting challenge. I literally looked at the islands from North to South and East to West and laid out the place names accordingly, more or less.

Obviously I couldn't squeeze them all in so I went for place names that have an iconic echo, like Tuamaranui…Eketahuna…Inangahua… and so on. “
