Great Plate 2012 • 100 plates 100 artists

The Great Plate is now in its 3rd year as the annual fundraising event for the Quarry Arts Centre. For this innovative exhibition 100 Artists are invited to create an original work of art on a blank Great Plate.

Each artist is given a ceramic Great Plate made by a local potter to use in any way they like; canvas, backdrop, sculptural component, wall hung, freestanding, suspended – there are no rules and no limitations. Artists donate their time and creations which are put on display in the Yvonne Rust Gallery at the Quarry Arts Centre from the 2nd to the13th of August.

Artworks can be collected or posted from the Yvonne Rust Gallery after the 13th August.
