Strange one this. I recently bought this prize in a charity auction with a view to using it as a prize in a commercial prize draw competition for one of my clients. What i hadn't realised was that it couldn't be used in this way. (Rule number 1: Don't drink and bid or if you do, make sure somebody else is listening to the rules) and as I live in Tauranga, its not much good to me.

No other restrictions and it would seem to be an ideal start to a work Xmas party if you're looking for something a little bit different (and there's only 7 of you!)

The prize is a tour around the TVNZ newsroom for up to 7 people (aged 10 and over)starting at 5.30pm on a weeknight, on a date convenient to both parties i.e. you and TVOne.
It involves a look around the newsroom where all the daily shows are made, a tour to the studio where you can see the promo before 6pm go to air and then you can watch the news go to air from the control room where the producer and directors sit.

I am happy to introduce you to the TVOne lady and indeed help organise it if required

I paid about $600 for it from memory (Rule number 2, don't tell the wife how much you spend on quirky auction items!) but in the event that it goes for more than that, I will happily donate the difference to Ronald Mcdonald House who were the original beneficiaries.
