This was the 1st model of the GOBLIN "Teasmade" a model D 21put into production in 1933.

Wooden cased,this unit needs a restoration job to the cabinet,but otherwise is in very good operating condition.

Research shows that some of these original units had a ceramic pot,this one is the matching metal plated one.

I made a pot of tea with it just before taking the photos today.

Everything working,the clock,heating element,buzzer,both lights & switches.

Water heater element turns on when time reaches that set! weight of water in kettle holds switch on & when boiling water pours into the teapot it switches off.When teapot is full it turns buzzer & lights on.
The buzzer & lights turn of when you lift the teapot off to fill cup/s
