I assembled this collection during my working days in the eighties. Many of them are iconic PCs and the others symbolic/typical of the early days of Personal Computers. They form the basis for a great collection of 'vintage' computing/PCs.

It was always my intention to some day have an office where I could present these beauties in a proper display. However, its now 2013 and I still haven't managed to do it, so they are reluctantly for sale.

All of them were working when they were taken out of service and into my collection - with the exception of the Compaq Portable which had a faulty hard drive and battery (I would think both replaceable quite easily). I have not tested them since. They have moved around with me for 25-30 years and kept in storage. When we moved from the UK 9 years ago they were professionally packed and shipped and most have only just been unpacked for these photos.

I have not cleaned, tested or prepared them in any way for this sale. If somebody purchases them I would suggest they (professionally) clean them prior to turning them on - should they wish to ever turn them on. Some may also require professional cosmetic attention to cases where paint has chipped.

They would form the basis of, or extend, a brilliant private collection. They would also form a great display for a corporate reception etc - don't spend $1,000s on some commissioned artwork when you could have a great display and talking point to interact with your customers!

I used all of these machines as part of my early career. These computers have been used at many well known (globally) companies and even have links to some (probably B or C list!) celebrities!

Please feel free to ask questions. I'm not going to sell individual computers and if they don't meet the reserve, I'll keep them for another 30 years!
