do you you trade in 'second hand' (vintage models)? ian60 (44 )  4:45 pm, Sat 22 Jul
It depends on what Brand and what you consider Vintage, For me its anything Fender made pre 65 and Gibson Pre 72. What do you have that you want to trade in? 4:50 pm, Sat 22 Jul
consider anything really am perphaps looking for the 'more interesting' models ... even those that 'one day would be worth 'added value' in time ian60 (44 )  5:00 pm, Sat 22 Jul
The Gary Moore Les Paul will be worth some serious cash in time. Gibson made 1000 for sale world wide, and thats it, no more. So it should be a good investment and a great player. I look for one offs from the early Fender custom shop, they were hand built by real masters. Not the machine made production line of today. 6:09 pm, Sat 22 Jul
can you get fender locking and normal machine heds for a strat? Its going outv tune, any sugestins reuben0011 (77 )  10:28 pm, Sat 22 Jul
thats typical if the strings are new, - stretch them. Probably not the tuners, but I do sell them all the time, check the trem springs, the more tension, the better it will stay in tune, so, it there is just 2 or 3 springs it will de tune easier, also check the nut. If you play hard it will de tune no matter what. heavier strings may help if you are using 9's go to 10's 8:01 am, Sun 23 Jul
