This ornate art nouveau nurses buckle dates from early last century. It is gold coloured brass in an ornate floriate pattern, each flower set with a tiny green jewel in the centre. It measures 7 cms long and besides the discolouring to the gold at the bottom it is in excellent condition. I have not tried to polish or clean it in any way.
