can you describe the actual symptoms? there must be somethign that makes you think its afaulty... is it displaying a picture at all? is it completely black? is the standby light changing colours from orange to green etc?

Sorry, my problem is that since I live in Chch I'd have to get a mate to go and get it and bring it down. A lot of trouble if it's not what I'm looking for.
