Tensioner unit for 1uz Toyota V8 for vehicles which have had the powersteer pump and air conditioning pump removed and now are only running an alternator.
Some people chose to pivot the alternator on their lexus 1uzfe. We have had several engines like this (done by other people) that have cracked the points on the block where the alternator attaches. Pivoting the alternator also can cause issues where there is not much room.
We have developed this handy unit to solve the problem. It has been fully tested and has passed with flying colours. We are now offering the unit for sale.
Bolts onto the engine using existing bolts and comes with the correct size belt. Easy to fit.
Perfect for 1uz-fe jet boats and early non power steer Hilux / Surf conversions
