Though they mistrust one another, the German and Italian troops are forced to work shoulder to shoulder to ward off the British.

This movie portrays the heroic and desperate attempts of a Bersaglieri regiment to stop the advancing hordes of allied armor from decimating the outnumbered Italian infantry and remaining light tank division in the last few days of the battle of El Alamein.

Battle of El Alamein acknowledges the Italians true fighting spirit during that war. A film that sums up their determined fighting spirit and fateful end.
