Registration on Trade Me is free. There is a simple registration form which we require you to fill in before you can start trading.

We will send you a confirmation email to confirm your email address as part of the registration process. Click the link in the email we send you to activate your membership.

If you haven't received a confirmation email you need to check your junk mail settings aren't blocking our emails. Our emails come from mailer@trademe.co.nz, you need to add this to your address book. Once you have done this you can re-send your confirmation email by logging in to the site and clicking the 'Resend my confirmation email' button.

Please note: Members not located in New Zealand or Australia may not buy or sell items through Trade Me. Sellers based in Australia must have a NZ bank account, may not register for Pay Now or become address verified, and may not sell vehicles or property located in Australia.
