Safety Rating

Safety ratings indicate the likely performance of your vehicle in a crash – the more stars, the safer the vehicle.

Where available we display the ANCAP rating, which is available for new vehicles.

For older vehicles, we display UCSR or VSRR ratings, which are based on a statistical analysis of millions of crashes in Australia and New Zealand. They provide a real-world estimate of the level of safety a vehicle offers to its occupants in a crash.
