About Me
20 years collecting so now trying to downsize (a little) ;-) My grading is by sight only. Here's how i break it down: NM = Mint. No such thing really, unless its still sealed, brand new and unplayed. EX- = Excellent. Looks almost new. Possibly has one to two minors faults, and some evidence of having been played, with no audible defect. VG+ = Very Good Plus. Has light scuffs and scratches but mostly inaudible. possibly can hear a bit of noise in quiet parts. Records with slight surface noise and/or scuffs fall into this category. VG = Very Good. Has a bit more wear and tear, surface noise a bit more apparent, but still very listenable. Records in this category have more significant damage or wear. VG- = More, distracting surface noise. Quite audible but good for singalongs etc ;-) Only used for rarites that you otherwise may not find. G+ = Good Plus. Not really good, more like a dustbin lid, used really only for rarities and/or label fillers.
