A closed hospital is the central point for the most recent spate of murders by a serial killer dubbed the NightHawk. Roslyn has been recruited to file old patient records, and soon discovers a disturbing connection between the victims - they were all once patients at the hospital. As paranoia spirals out of control, Roslyn believes anybody could be guilty, even her own husband. Roslyn confides in Dr. Clement a British psychiatrist who works nights on the fifth floor. There, Roslyn discovers a therapy room labelled Psych 9, a barbaric-looking mental health treatment room with a story of its own.
