Tascam Reel to Reel 4 Track Recorder

This is a Tascam 34 1/4" recorder. It was a professional machine in its day with seperate record/playback and erase heads (all in near new condition) and as such does not have built in preamps.
It however has fallen into a state of disrepair. Last time I used it (maybe 4 years ago) it had a sticky brake solenoid, and one of the VU meters didnt work on Input. There may be other problems which I dont know of and therefore is sold as is.
Comes with a tape splicing kit.

Sorry for the delayed reply...technical problems. This needs to be picked up from Pt Chevalier. However it now turns out I have to go away for two weeks and wont be back in town until the 2nd of May. Hi - the sticky solenoid is probably just due to a desintegrating rubber washer, relatively easily replaced after cleaning out the solenoid, so its still a worthwhile deck. arjoll (70 )  3:39 pm, Sun 16 Apr
