** IMMACULATE CONDITION - As New, No Chips, Cracks, Discolouration or Crazing.

** This is an AWSOME PIECE of ELLGREAVE (A division of WOOD & SONS - ENGLAND. I had not seen one of these when I bought it for my collection & I have not seen another since, perhaps quite a rarie?

** The base reads: -
* ELLGREAVE
* RALPH 1750 MOSES 1751 ENOCH 1784
* (Their colourful motif of flowers & a sheild depicting a lion)
* A DIV OF WOOD & SONS ENGLAND
* GENUINE IRNSTONE
* Written in Gold 342 D
* Imprinted around the circumference of the base MADE IN ENGLAND

** The decoration of this beauty is of a BLUE Peacock (I think) sitting on a tree or bush of flowers. The side shown in image two is the largest with the reverse side imagery being smaller.

** The Tea pot itself is white with delicate grooving to the body & lid as shown in the photo images.

** Gold guilding is applied to: -
LID - Around the handle of the teapot lid & the lids outer diameter & a inner diameter ring.
BODY - The top rim of the body & spout , the inlays of the spout, the bodies handle & the top diameter of the body where the lid sits (refef photo images).

** A delightful BLUE & WHITE good sized QUALITY ENGLISH tea pot with beautiful symetry & design, & of course in excellent condition.
