Bmw Alpina C2 1986

1986 BMW Alpina C2 2.7 (based on 325i)

HAND BUILT Alpina C2 2.7 one of under 40 RHD 4 door cars built. All original condition. There really isnt any question that it was built a C2 2.7- even all the alpina parts have 85 (the year the parts were built) stamped on them, and the cars chassis number is on the builder's hand written list.

This is a very fast car, not too bad on fuel if you have a light foot....!

Paint isnt very good even if it is 'shiny'

Car is by no means mint, but is cheaper than anything similar!

Is mostly as built, minus front spoiler, rear spoiler, and rear badges.

it however definitely DOES still have:

Extractors, Alpina twin pipe straight through exhaust, Alpina ECU computer etc) Block and head have been replaced at some stage, not sure if replaced with 2.5 or 2.7 ones.

New cambelt not long ago.

5 speed manual, on board computer, cruise control, sport leather seats electric sunroof. Limited slip diff, yellow sport Bilstein shocks re- valved by Alpina, Alpina side skirts, large Alpina anti- roll bars, Alpina rear springs, jamex front.

heater not hooked up (leaky core), only 3 windows working, (sometimes only 2) stereo did work until i had a fiddle with plastic trim around it when replacing some screws! I suggest you have a look over the car, as i am selling as is where is (its in a farm shed at the moment)

I cant (and neither can anyoner else- trust me ive tried) verify its authenticity for all the 'genuine enquiries', all the outfit that built it can say is that yes they did build it at their dealership. (Sytner Nottingham where Alpina's used to be made in right hand drive). Also i cannot verify if it is or isnt a 2.7, as it has had its head and block only replaced at some time.
