The Subaru Impreza WRX 22B STi version is a handmade 2 door coupe based on the Subaru Impreza that contested the World Rally Championship. Only 400 hundred of these were built for the Japanese domestic market and were sold out within 48 hours. The Impreza WRX 22B STi Version features EJ22 2.2litre turbocharged engine, 4WD system, intercooler water splay, ventilated disc brakes, Bilstein inverted suspension, 17 x 8.5 inch BBS wheels fitted with Pirelli 235/40 P-Zero tyres and a twin plate ceramic/metal clutch. With a widened body, it is 80mm wider than an Impreza WRX at both the front and rear.

Holy hell that right there is the most amazing machine I've ever seen. The 22B is seriously the ultimate Impreza...trying not to cry here, because I can't afford it! I'd buy it in a heartbeat if I could. Good luck with your auction man...that baby deserves a good new home. <3

Are you positive it is 250kw 'factory standard' as I am certain ALL Japanese cars were restricted to a maximum output of 206kw (280bhp) and the 22B is no exception. Please confirm as all the websites I have checked say 206kw too.

Good point. Its a typo on my behalf. Should have been 205 Kw. Had checked a few sites before putting auction on, and had from 205 to 213.5Kw. Figured would just use the lowest. Thanks for the heads up

Just for random trivia, the S-series Imprezas (S201, S202 etc) are the only Imprezas where they threw the 'gentlemen's agreement' for kW out the window and went for 225-245 for those beasties. I believe all the others to date are 205kW max. :) There are a few of the S-series babies floating around the site at the moment too. It's like a field day for the world's most sought-after Imprezas at the moment!

Cheers for that. The owner of the car (i'm listing on his behalf) was quoted 250Kw from Wingers Subaru. All i know is that it looks absolutely stunning and it goes like a rocket... not a NASA one though cos they tend to explode

Lol 250kw is a bit much for any factory car if your not a rich motherf**ker.. But yeh I think he's right its about 205-210kw. But nice car anyway. Alot less dick sucking in these questions which is good!!!
