Volkswagen RARE VW 182 Kubel 1973

It is with deep regret that I am offering my 1973 Volkswagen 182 Radio Car up for sale. It is possibly the only genuine military and one of only a handful of these in the country. I have owned the car for maybe five years and have only done 500km a year on average.

Condition - The body is in original and unmolested condition, the doors have filler in the bottoms (a common rust spot), the roof mechanism and hood are fully functional, the side and rear plastic windows are slightly discolored and replacements are available - but this is not a problem as I always drive with the roof down and it is only used in the summer! I have fitted a smaller steering wheel and the original one will come with the car too. The engine runs really well and I believe the millage to be correct, full details on carjam.co.nz. The number plate is KDF. New battery 6 weeks ago.

I would like this vehicle to go to a VW or Military enthusiast as it is very authentic (original military stickers still in place), it comes with the additional military items - wheel chock, engine crank handle, jacking block, front lens cover, convoy lights (still functional), side screen bag, double crank pulley, shielded distributor and regulator.

Current WOF and Rego and viewing is available in Christchurch. I would prefer it to stay in NZ but the earthquake has effected my work situation so it will be mentioned on global sites.
