Olympus OM Zuiko MC Auto T 1:6.5/600mm lens. Made in Japan. Comes with genuine Olympus UV filter and screw-on lens cap. Filter size is 100mm.

A rare super telephoto lens in very good condition. Designed for the Olympus OM system, it can be used on other camera with the appropriate adapter - these can be purchased on TradeMe for most makes.

I used this on the Olympus E-3 and more recently on the E-5 with great results. On my Olympus camera the SLR equivalent is 1200mm which can drag things in from a great distance. I'm offering the lens for sale with some reluctance but the practical reality is that I do much of my photography in the back country which means carrying gear over long distances. I have other lenses including an OM 350mm which I tend to use more often. It's even heavier and bulkier and realistically I can't carry them all. If I could I would.

Other than a few superficial marks the lens is in great condition. It doesn't come with a case.
