An old retro PYE radiogram. It is Model RC120/4 Valve radio & record player set in a cabinet with lift up lid. It has a Garrard 4 speed turntable. There are 6 band radio selection. The tag inside says A.C Radiogram type PZ95 serial number 94892. The wood looks quite good really. The wood looks to be plywood, but not sure what wood it is. Has scratches and marks and some minor chips etc, but basically I think the wood work is in real good condition for its age. A quick LIGHT sand down would do wonders. Could see no borer. (& if I missed any, it would be real minor and kerosene or meths would fix that, but again, did not see any) Has twin speakers, one each side and the fabric covering looks good. It does go sort of. The radio works & you can get stations, the turntable works and I have sound at the needle, but I can not get the arm to go across. (I have not forced as I do not want to damage it) Could be a linkage underneath or such, but I am sure that anyone who knows about these would sort it out fairly quickly. Is four speeds, 16, 33, 45 78 rpm. Measures approx 485mm wide x 380mm deep - not counting the knobs, x 320mm high. Approx 635mm high with the lid up. Inside needs a clean, but really, I think it is pretty tidy. Has a little book with it. Has the old type exposed plug so that would need to be changed. Because it is old and electrical it is sold as a collectors piece for restoration only, sold as is, and sold as not going. Sold for fix up or for parts only. It is not sold as a going radip record player. Because of its fragile nature and weight pickup would be best, but can put in a box with scrunched up newspaper for shock absorption and courier if I had to. (which means no PO boxes, and may be too big for rural delivery, so it would need to go to a town address. (so thats no rural delivery or PO boxes) Nth Is islands are same rate as Sth Island.
