Vintage style wooden AM/FM/ Radio

This is NOT a genuine antique – it is a reproduction. The wording on the back says” AM/FM radio, Collectors Edition radio, model 86005.

Wooden cased radio – looks fabulous as an ornament BUT does not work properly as a radio hence the low price.

It keeps fading in and out of the station chosen so seems to have a fault (looks like it might be the on-off switch?).

Runs from the mains by plug, not batteries.

I have no idea how much it would cost to get this sorted. Please DO NOT bid on this unless you know how to repair this or just want it as an ornament.

It has 4 knobs on the front: tone AM/FM/AFC tuning on/off It has a socket on the back saying “tape in” – not sure what this is for, possibly a speaker?

Size approx: 28cm (11") wide x 30cm (12") tall x 18cm (7") deep

I have checked these out on the internet and it seems to be a Welbilt Brand although it does not say it on the radio case. it looks like there should be a makers name on the space at the from of the radio, under the knobs.
