About David Geenty David Geenty was born in England in 1945, and grew up in South Africa. He gained his earliest impressions on the ranch of his father's in the Gonarhezho, a large wild area in the South-Eastern region of Zimbabwe today. As an art student in Johannesburg, David was significantly influenced by Moses Kotler, a South African sculptor, noted for his work. David believes that he his talent for animal sculptures Kotlers teaching owes. He is mainly an animal sculptor and gained recognition for his horse representations in the United Kingdom as well as in the United States, where his work at the Kentucky Museum are exhibited of racing history. David is associated in the gift area with Heredities, border fine arts and Albany fine China. He is committed to John Hammond (border fine arts), which he has learned a lot and during this time a lot more works has made m. racehorses, country life & dogs, many of which are now collector's items. His works are collected by many and appreciated. He hopes that his works others so much fun like him, when he created them.
