Definitely the most collectable "Tasman Empire Airways Ltd" poster from this era :
Impressionistic view of Tahitian woman in water putting a flower in her hair. Printed in Australia by Posters Pty Ltd, ... this has been sourced from a 1960's private collection - Unused it appears to have been stored in the dark, rolled up for decades. Its sister poster was bought on Trademe for $1,265 two weeks ago by a Museum ... it was dated 1965 with Air NZ and TEAL logo across the bottom !!
The colours are fresh with no tears or pinholes...Measures 39 x 25 inches

It has a small crease across TEAL at bottom right corner, but its condition in any Fine Art auction would still be listed as A. The ink bleed on the back from TEAL name proves it is not a reproduction ... this is only to found on original posters of this vintage.
