Believed to be printed in 1963, this rare unrestored original vintage poster maintains very bright colours and is generally in very good condition. It depicts two local children greeting each other, with the tagline
"The Orient is Hong Kong" at the top.
Although promoting HONG KONG this beautiful moving image symbolises every thing we remember of the old China and its culture ... back before the cultural Revolution, Chairman Mao's death and the rapid industrial growth of China since the Mid-70's!
Printed in Hong Kong for the Hong Kong tourist Association by Yat Sun Printing Company and sent out to airlines serving Hong Kong!.

Edges are perfect just little bit of spotting along white area at bottom from being rolled up for 50yrs.

In the 50's and 60's most travel posters were made by Lithography or silk screen methods. After production the plates and screens were usually thrown away.
