Description
A very cool and incredibly rare retro Bus Blind that features iconic Wellington locations including the most loved cricket ground in NZ, the BASIN RESERVE.
This is the last strip in the series and by far the best. It starts with the student’s ‘hood Aro Street and ends at Happy Valley.
This mid century modern blind is the last one from the '1974 Stagecoach Bus route, Te Aro 12' that wound its way around Wellington through the Western, Southern & Eastern suburbs via tourist destinations.
This blind has never been used, probably because the screen print is off-centre, consequently it’s in amazing original condition.
The blind itself is a white wax-like paper commonly used for NZ bus blinds in the 1970s (not canvas like some older/international blinds).
It can be rolled out and hung with drawing pins or glued to a hard card/board or professionally framed.
