An uncommon example, this piece features a stunning large top constructed entirely from solid Mahogany with distinctive crown cut swirling grain and matching lower shelf for magazines, books, etc all supported by four pin legs which connects the entire table together with a clever birds-mouth joint on the corners, thus removing the sub frame or stretchers enabling it to be incredibly strong yet light in appearance and free from structural elements.



Condition:

Fully restored - stripped, cleaned, re-glued & clamped, then finished in six or more coats of Briwax Danish Oil leaving a hard wearing natural, satin finish that penetrates the wood strengthening it from within.
