The elegant 109 Spaghetti Armchair was designed by Giandomenico Belotti for the Italian manufacturer Alias. A symbolic seat in the history of Alias design, the Spaghetti Chair has been wildly imitated. The Spaghetti range has the distinction of being included in MoMA’s permanent collection.

This chair is branded Alias– it’s licensed – so not a cheap knock off.

Stacking armchair with structure in chromed enamelled steel, seat and back in blue PVC. Slender steel legs with a chromed finish: this is a timelessly sensual chair that will feel at home in the conference room, at the dining table, or whatever space needs a strong dose of classic elegance.

Condition: Chrome is good – one area of spotting in but not major. The blue PVC has a number of rub marks on them – but could easily be replaced/or possible restored by a plastic repairer.

I bought these as a do-up for my office… they go for over 1,000 euro new (as shown in photos 1 and 2), so worth the effort. Alas, too many projects on the go.
