You are bidding on a wonderful piece of free standing furniture.

This belonged to my Grandmother, it's called a SAFE.
A SAFE is where you kept your Butter, Cheese & Milk, Cutlery Drawer, Cocktail Glasses & Drinks.
It's a bit of everything all rolled into one piece of free standing furniture!

The blue glass is modern the original glass got smashed on it's voyage from the UK, It was clear with frosted etching

It's been painted quite a few times and not professionally, in a good condition for it's age, a strip back would be a fun project!

Wood: The 2 sides and back is similar to MDF used today, however in the 1940's - 1950's it would have been particle board, so it's thinner but sturdy the front facade is thicker more like pine

Handles are Bakerlite - pale green
Round discs you see are vents (plastic)
Borer: None
