C h a i r s :

First designed by "Johannes Andersen" for Uldum of Denmark, made I guess, circa 1960.

Beautiful from all angles these wonderful chairs are the epitome of sculptured, organic, modernist design!

The Pill shaped back rest, reflects the period and decorative concerns of the era. The most beautiful profile of these chairs, carries the same form in negative, between the leg and stretcher!

Think "Verner Panton", Op art, the 1960s.

They are beautiful, generous, practical, and comfortable!

C o n d i t i o n :

Mint 9.9/10. Fully restored

Chairs have been dissembled, They have been sanded, oiled,... Sanded and oiled again. 6 coats in total.

Newly upholstered in a Warwick fabric "Beachcomber", colour "Lime". This is a close knit fabric with excellent resilience.

chair has had a previous fix cosmetically repaired, see photos.

The rather poor photos hardly do justice to these magnificent examples!
