The Copper used in the manufacture of this small necklace medallion was recovered from the HMS Victory and perhaps also from The HMS Foudroyant BOTH were at one time the FLAGSHIPS of Britain's most famed sailor Admiral Horatio Nelson
This medallion and many other items were fashioned in 1905 on the centenary of Nelson's tragic death at the immortal Battle of Trafalgar
