Description

This listing is for the whole group. A starter kit of six old insulators -- one or two are over 100 years old -- and a new insulator collector's handbook. This is the first book of its kind to be published in New Zealand and will answer most of your questions about this new hobby. You'll also learn about the introduction of telegraph and telephone services into pioneer New Zealand, and the beginnings of power reticulation as well. So, as well as everything else, you're getting a bit of social history thrown into the mix by way of a bonus. 217 pages. More than 200 colour photographs.

These books cost us US$29.00 each to get printed in the States. Which works out to $41.54 each in our money. (On the current rate of exchange). And by the time international postage to New Zealand is taken into account it will be seen that there is nothing in it for us. In producing the book, all we wanted to do was introduce and publicise a new hobby in this country. And surely but slowly this is happening. So why not help the process along by buying a copy? Thanks.
